A Cleaner Alternative
One issue with which I have often contended as a homeowner and a cleaning professional is how gross sponges are.
They seem like a great idea, and they’re certainly better than wiping dishes down with your bare hands.
But it seems as though I am often up against foodstuffs stubbornly sticking to the inside of a pot.
It also seems as though within even just a couple of weeks of use, my sponge is gross looking, moist and smelly, demanding that I swap it out for a new one.
Brushes only mitigate the struggle, hardly faring better against tough jobs, the bristles bending into a mess after a lot of use or getting gunk trapped in them.
Yuck!
And then I discovered the Scrub Daddy, and I can’t tell you how much more effective it has been at washing my dishes than my sponges and brushes.
What is so Special?
The Scrub Daddy is made from a branded polymer foam called FlexTexture, which remains stiff when in cold or room temperature water but softens with heat.
That means that Scrub Daddy is sufficiently coarse to deal with sticky cleaning jobs, but can also be soft enough that it doesn’t scuff or scratch many of my more delicate pots and pans.
Additionally, it lasts for SO much longer than my sponges and brushes did, so I’m not constantly running through packs of it just to keep my kitchen from feeling gross.
Seriously, it feels like magic!
The Scrub Daddy has been a marvelous substitution to my old dishwashing tools. I’m crazy about it, and I wanted to share it with you if you haven’t yet discovered it.
We really believe that these cleaning tips that we share with you every week have potential to overhaul your life. I bring this up because when we recommend a product to you, it isn’t something that we do lightly.
This is not a partnership or advertisement; our recommending of the Scrub Daddy has only to do with our belief in the product as an excellent tool for cleaning your dishes.
